Over the years, we have developed the craft of creating unique and high-quality dresses that combine modern styles with traditional African designs. Our brand is best known for the art of corsetry and we have taken this classic, highly technical craft and reimagined it to celebrate the modern African woman. By combining meticulous structural engineering with the vibrant heritage of local textiles, we create garments that are both empowering and culturally expressive, using both African and western fabrics. Lulungi couture also works with the community. We use our artistic knowledge to teach tailoring and design skills to young people and women in Kampala. Lulungi Couture is more than a clothing shop.
