I'm Brenda the creative mind behind Brenda at handcrafts, a Ugandan crochet artist whose journey began from a very humble beginning. I discovered crochet as a child while living with my grandmother. With leftover yarns and a simple safety pin, I began creating little pieces at just seven years old.

What started as a childhood curiosity slowly became a skill, a passion and eventually my purpose.

Through life's challenges and changes,crochet remained a part of me.i continued learning, experimenting and finding ways to turn ordinary materials into extraordinary pieces.

Today I create crochet fashion, accessories, bags, footwear and artistic designs inspired by African culture, nature, heritage and everyday life .for me, crochet is more than making beautiful things.

Every stitch carries a piece of my journey, my resilience, creativity and love for handmade art.
